I don’t know where it went, but it’s gone. And now it’s October. While I’m busy prepping a YA Buccaneer post for NaNoWriMo, eating hoards of turkey and pumpkin pie (yes, it’ll be Thanksgiving here in Canada in a few days), and planning my Christmas baking, I thought I’d share a few gems from September.
I loved:
♥ Star Wars Identities ♥ THE TRAGEDY PAPER ♥ buying shoes ♥ holidays
♥ Talk Like a Pirate Day ♥ Handmade Harvest Food & Drink show ♥ plum shirts
♥ Pumpkin Spice Lattes ♥ summer tomatoes ♥ noisy neighbours selling up
♥ coffee breaks with new friends ♥ Cafe Press ♥ super cute red library chairs
♥ getting to be creative ♥ my niece’s cute new haircut ♥ Amos Lee (where’ve I been?!)
I’ll leave you with a fun little craft I worked on in September. It stemmed from a sign I made for the library this summer, and a patron asked me to make something for her daughter’s wedding. Vintage skis and a birch bark sign—all made from paper, foam core, markers and coloured pencils. Took me FOREVER, but they were fun to make and she seemed to like them.
