Paul McCartney Was Here!

Yesterday…all my troubles seemed so…well, nevermind. You know the rest. Yes, this was the week we went to see Paul McCartney! It was raining, I didn’t want to get up and go to work the next morning, and we were miles away from the stage, but what a fun concert!  It was amazing to be in the presence of such an icon. (Sara, I waved to him for you!)

 

 

 

 

 

Fittingly, this was “Rock Star” week at the library. We saw more mini pop stars & rock idols than we imagined and it made the week so much fun. (I was the paparazzi! Boy, did those kids know how to work the camera!)

 

 

 

My sister-in-law and brother-in-law arrived from Alberta for a visit this week also, so we’ll be doing lots of running back and forth to my mother-in-law’s while they’re here. I sure hope they like tea (shhhhh…it’s a secret present from David’s Tea!).

 

 

 

All in all, I’m looking forward to doing some relaxing this weekend, and finding a few hours to write. If you have a few minutes, here are a few things I came across this week:

♥   My sister bought me this cookbook recently, and I can’t get over the gorgeous! It has scalloped edges, for goodness sake! As pretty as the cake photos inside. And they have a website!
