My adventures this week led to me to the nursery. Our local plant mecca extraordinaire creates an annual Christmas Shop, housed in one of their back sheds starting in early November. The walk up is usually quite drab (I always seem to go on an overcast day), but once you walk inside, you are transported to Christmas Land.
Upon entering, the heady mix of pine needles and cinnamon makes you think of being at home decorating the tree around a roaring fire. And everything sparkles—from green-glittered pinecones to frosted icicle laden wreaths, and starry snowflake decorations.
I can never spend long enough here, and always leave with a bag of shimmery decorations or a juniper berry wreath for the front door.
What a lovely place it must be to work all day, listening to Christmas carols and making gigantic velvet bows for atop their gorgeous trees. ‘Tis the season now, officially!
Have you started your Christmas shopping yet?
